This piece is one of my many pieces about creatures of the ocean. I believe that over fishing is a tragedy and that despite common belief that fish have no feeling is merely a way around guilt for trawling the bottoms of the oceans and leaving many species of sea life extinct, or on the brink. The emotionality of this fish is my attempt to connect the viewer with the animal on a human-like level.
